Three Person Rotating Scramble
Each foursome will be considered a team to compete against every other foursome team. This year’s format is a 3 person rotating scramble format. This format has teams play a 3-person rotating scramble, with the fourth person playing the regular golf* on each hole. The person playing regular golf* rotates each hole. So every 4th hole you would play regular golf* When it is not your turn playing regular golf* you would be involved with the other playing partners in a 3-person scramble. Team scramble scores of each foursome team will be totaled and matched against all other foursome teams to determine the “GMO” Champion Team. There is no additional charge to participate as a foursome team in “Team Challenge”. The traveling “Team Challenge Cup” will be awarded to the winning team.
Piggly Wiggly Pink Ball Tournament
Any foursome may purchase one special pink ball to play against all other pink ball foursomes during your regular golf turns. The first player in your foursome will play the pink ball on the first hole, the second player will play the pink ball on the second hole, and so on for the other two players. You will continue to rotate (in order) the person playing with the pink ball throughout the entire 18 holes. The pink ball score will be added up for the entire 18 holes. If you lose the pink ball, your foursome is eliminated. The object of the “Pink Ball Game” is to finish without losing the pink ball and have the lowest total score. There will be a small charge for foursomes to purchase a pink ball, and prizes will be awarded to the wining foursome.
*If your group decides not to participate in the pink-ball competition, you will each play your own ball when it's your turn to play regular golf.
