MACC Business Advocacy Committee ~
The business advocacy committee consists of two board members, MACC members from the following industries: industrial, small business, Lake District, and agriculture, and the executive director. The business advocacy committee shall meet monthly and is responsible for exploring issues important to MACC members and representing the members in community conversations. The work of the committee revolves around four major areas.
Stay informed on local policy issues that impact members
Create a system of gathering member opinions on current issues
Create paths of communication with the MACC board for instances when response time cannot wait until the next board meeting
Develop a plan to communicate, to the community, MACC’s stance on issues as needed to support the interests of the MACC board and membership
More information in regards to committees will be coming soon!
